Friendly place. Low key food good not great but looking over harbor while eating and drinking very nice. Nice people would definitely come back a local's place

Stuffed quahogs are soft breading, rubbery clam chunks, and heavy with one spice. Cocktails could not be worse and the Sunday night bartenders cannot make the most standard of drinks. Syrupy, sweet and cheap drinks. Nice but easily flustered staff.

Four of us ended up here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were quickly greeted and chose to sit at a high top near the bar so we would have a nice view of the water from the large window. We had come from a liquor tasting and after having whiskey and vodka I didn't want to add another liquor into the mix and asked the bartender/waitress what she suggested using one of those spirits. She mixed me a nice drink of blueberry vodka, cranberry vodka and soda. We started with the Irish nachos, which were made with their homemade potato chips. Thiese were a hit with all of us. I ordered a chicken Parmesan sandwich with chips on the side. You can get onion dip to go with the chips for an extra 50 cents. The sandwich was pretty good. Two at the table ordered the fish tacos and the portion size was enormous. They really enjoyed them. All in all it was above average pub food and reasonable prices. I don't get to this area very often, but I would definitely visit again.

Standard Irish pub. And they do it well. Copper-topped bar is quite nice and behind the bar furniture creates a rustic atmosphere. I had the Western Burger, my wife had the Pulled Pork Pizza. Both hit the spot. Their beer selection is sizable, about 20 craft brews (including Yuengling, huge bonus) and then a Scheißebier or two (Miller). The bartenders are knowledgable and friendly.

Just stopped in for a beer, ran into an old chum. Simple correction. McKinley's is actually on the Warwick side of "DIVISION" street.

Wishing I had come on a warmer day to take advantage of the outdoor seating. There was not a ton of indoor seating we had to sit at a tiny little table. Parking was not the most fun but we managed. The food was delicious though. We got the McKinley's Chips, so good, fresh made potato chips and delish onion dip. Friend and I got burgers. Both came out just as we ordered and were very good. Beer selection was decent. The staff was attentive. Will go again.

What's NOT to love about this place? Casual, yet you don't feel the need to bathe in hand sanitizer upon exiting. Sits among boats worth more than what you will earn in your life but never pretentious. The inside of the bar has the feel of an antique wooden sail boat. The range of the beers on tap runs from PBR to microbrews. The outdoor area is perfect for the summer months. There are a few TV's but it's not a sports bar by any means. The food is cheap but good bar food and has some great seafood selections. The crowd is always an awesome mix and you are guaranteed a good time.

Very cool, off the beaten path kind of place. We like to go after a day of sailing as we keep our boat at the marina where McKinleys is located. We can actually see our boat on the mooring from the table to the right when you first walk up the stairs, kind of neat! The food is a pretty standard "pub food" menu and everything we tried has been very good. Guinness is on draught and they pour a healthy glass of wine for the ladies. Now at night time and off season this place has a bit of an identity crisis, it seems every kid under 25 swarms the place and only want to hear Slayer, just awful. Stick to the Grateful Dead/Reggae song selections and it can be enjoyable even with all the slacker, hipster wanna-be's swarming the joint! Overall, good food and drinks, mixed crowd can be fun, but the Slayer has to go!!!

Love the location, love the deck, great menu. Almost don't want to review it as I don't want this place to get to busy.

Get the fish tacos they are the best! Weekend nights here are jam packed, best to go during the week to avoid the crowd.

This bar has the potential to be a great local place. The interior is setup well and the atmosphere was comfortable. The issue here is that they seriously short pour mixed drinks. I ordered a jack and coke and watched the male bartender literally pour a 1 count into a pint glass. The drink was basically a 7 dollar glass of coke. I actually ordered a shot of jack and in front of the bartender poured it into my drink. So this drink cost me 12.50. I am not asking for a seriously strong drink, but this was just poor. So I thought maybe it was just a mistake, so I ordered another drink. It was worse then the first. I took one sip of the drink and literally pushed it back on the bar and ordered a beer. The draft beer was fine. The bartender didn't even ask me if there was something wrong. He just charged me another 7 dollars for a drink that I didn't drink. Go there for a beer, and hopefully you'll catch one of the nice female bartenders. Stay away from this lame male bartender. Good luck.

The place is located at Norton's boat yard. When you walk in it has a dark feel and more of a pub atmosphere. The view out the front window is over the marina and anchorage and is high enough to watch all you want. The food was the best part. I had the bacon and blue cheese burger and it was excellent. My girlfriend had the baby back ribs and they were excellent also.

Our waitress was the biggest fan of this bar and was super excited to help us -I wasn't even expecting table service. The bar food was okay and the beer was reasonably priced. I'll go back. Early in the night (about 8:00) this place was nice and cozy, at about 10:00 it started to get rowdy -act/attend accordingly.

The fiance and I came here on a chilly fall evening after going to the movies. We didn't really know what to expect, but we saw that it got decent reviews on here and that it was right on the water, so figured we'd give it a shot. It's literally right on the water, and it has an outdoor patio and bar area that seems like it would be THE place to be on a warm summer evening. It also has that quaint Irish pub feel that I love The interior is laid out somewhat strangely. There were only a few tables along the front wall, and then a couple more awkwardly tucked around the corner in this little annexed room. The few tables that were in there were occupied, so we sat at the nearly empty bar for our meal. My fiance ordered his beer, and the keg kicked about 3/4 of the way through the pour, so the bartender gave it to him free of charge since it was the bottom of the keg and possibly a bit flat (which it was), but he drank it anyway because even just a free partial beer is still free beer! He ordered his second beer and the same thing happened, resulting in another free, but mediocre quality beer. I'm trying to remember what I ordered for food. I'm pretty sure it was the fish tacos, but I'm not 100% positive. Typically I have a very good memory when it comes to delicious food, so I'm assuming this particular dish didn't do anything to stand out in my mind, although I also have a good memory when it comes to bad food, so this must have landed somewhere in the middle. Overall, the service was friendly and the location was pretty neat, but I wouldn't come back here again for dinner. I would, however, come back here in the warmer months to sip some fruity cocktails while siting on their outdoor patio by the water!

Wow what a great time. My husband and I went with two other couples. We all had real good tasty food. We had the fried squid and house chips. Very good. We all loved our meals and we will be going back again soon!

McKinley's is in a funky location -- buried in the EG Yacht Club. Right now (since it's winter), it is surrounded by dry-docked boats. Totally a local place with solid on-tab beer selection. It is the kind of place that you reunite with old friends to catch up when you haven't seen each other in a while. Good music on in the background and friendly service. Not a huge place, but good for groups. Not sure what it would be like in the summer -- busy, I imagine, given the location by the Yacht Club. I wouldn't make it a regular spot (since I live a bit away from it) -- but I do like going there.

On a recent visit to McKinley's the bartender gave my debit card to another patron and had no explanation for it's disappearance. I was charged $95.00 for a $21.00 bill! Bartenders were very unhelpful and showed little remorse for their mistake. I will not being going back!

I think my review is tainted slightly by the enormous amount of frustration I had in actually located it. Its address is "1 Division Street", however if you actually use Division Street to get there you will find yourself at 5 Division Street scratching your head wondering where #1 ran off to. Location aside the place is relatively clean and seems to have a slew of "regulars". Beer selections are somewhat limited if you're into craft brews, but there's just about something for everyone. I do have to say I found the place to feel cramped, which is funny as the building itself is certainly not small. The layout does not lend itself well to an open atmosphere, and I found myself bumping elbows just about everywhere I went - even if it was a Monday night.

An update; Went there in the early evening with a group of four. There were about a dozen to eighteen people and service was very good. Our Indian friend (non-drinker and vegan) was at a disadvantage. There were no vegan options for dinner and I am not sure there were any veggie options. The kitchen made him something and did not charge much, so kudos to them. Both beer drinkers (Long Trail Pale Ale and Double IPA) were fairly good. Service was very good and the atmosphere very pleasant. The meals were, by general consensous, very good pub grub. That are people going crazy in these reviews for the food here, which seems strange to me. It is good food - just not remarkable. The cajun seafood (special) was very good, tasted fresh and well cooked. Still my favouite pub in the area and only fails to get five stars as I am more miserly with them than most people.

On our recent trip to visit East Greenwich and Newport, we planned a stop here to get some lunch. On a Saturday early afternoon, there were only a few others eating lunch before going out to the water which was right across the parking lot. Convenient parking in front when we went, we got a nice seat in the front overlooking the boats in the harbor. My wife and I each ordered the soup of the day and it was a tasty Manhattan clam chowder. Little chunks of clam mixed with a good stock and generous chunks of tomatoes and potatoes, we both cleaned our bowls. Not wanting to order too much, we each ordered a sub. Myself the Philly cheesesteak because I can never pass one up when it's on the menu and the Veal McKinley for my wife. My cheesesteak was not stellar but the fries were tasty and hot leaving me full for the the rest of our drive. On the way out we saw someone order a burger and it looked pretty big considering they are all 1/2 pounders. We'd go back if we were in town and next time might have a few drinks.

Wasn't sure about this place when we first got there; it was at the end of a road surrounded by boats, and had only one other person in the bar. Apparently it was Trivia Night, though, and most people would be arriving later on. (In fact, by the time we left, the place was starting to get plenty of folks.) They had a good beer selection on tap, the wait staff was very friendly, and the food was quite good. Sure I didn't get anything too crazy, just a veal parmesan sandwich, but it was cooked well, and tasty - hit the spot! The prices were quite reasonable too.

Old Reliable. I have been going to McKinleys since I turned 21 and 6 years later I still go there. It usually is like a high school reunion i dont want to happen but always results in a god time. Drinks are moderately priced and they have a good beer selection.

Finally went to have some lunch and beers with my wife, I like the atmosphere, very cool...sat at the bar, the bartender seemed to be in the weeds a bit...took 10min to get a beer, we ordered lunch, my wife got the calamari, it was soggy for the most part...I ordered the lobster roll...well she forgot about it, I mean for real?? When it finally did come it was ok...not great...I would go back...the wife will never go back...oh well...

Excellent. Best meal we've had in E. Greenwich. Buffalo chicken pizza and the tilapia with grilled shrimp dinners. We are cruising sailors. This place is right on the water. Local clientele. Nice pub atmosphere No pretensions. Just good.

3 words - spicy fish tacos. They go great with your margarita. Or your Guinness. A nice, casual, hidden-away pub to get together with friends, or just to grab a drink and relax.

The best bar in EG during the summer, great outdoor deck/patio, great beer, and the food portions are huge, def an awesome choice and they have darts...

The fact that I'm giving three stars despite the longest wait for food I've ever experienced says something. This seems like a great place to drink; a meh place to eat. Most of the food was actually really good, but the wait to order was long and the wait for the food was even longer. Prices are pretty cheap. Beer selection is a half-notch above normal, as they do have two Berkshire Brewing offerings and Allagash White. There was also a tap for Southern Tier 2XIPA, but it was empty on Saturday afternoon and was still that way the following evening. Service was very friendly and apologetic for the wait. I will definitely be back, but I just won't arrive hungry. Probably better to just have a burger or appetizer at the bar and leave it at that. Otherwise I dig this place a lot.

I was so happy to find a new place to grab a drink in East Greenwich! Casual vibe, outdoor bar, looking out at the boats with some amazing food. I'm a fan! Looking forward to going back again to this very chill place!

Great bar with lots of great beer on tap and friendly clientele. Of course, I'm biased since it's my cousin's bar, but it doesn't mean it's not awesome. It's right on the water in Norton's Marina -- I can't wait to go in the summer! I'll be the girl drinking Newport Storm. The decor is great, with the wooden beams and copper bar. If you're down in Rhode Island you should give it a try!

Being from "The Ocean State," I feel there's nothing better than the smell of seawater mixing with the taste of a cold beer. This spot is my home-away-from-home when I'm at home with the 'rents in Rhode Island. It's literally in the parking lot of a marina, and it has that old-town waterside New England charm that you can't duplicate anywhere else in the country.

This place is fantastic! I didn't even know it was there. It's a great spot to grab a beer and meet up with friends. I would highly recommend it!
